Welcome to my page. Since retiring in Germany, I offer talk therapy and art therapy in a consultative capacity to help people in discovering themselves and their underlying patterns, and to foster a solution - oriented approach. Given my lifelong artistic background and my training in cathatym - imaginative-psychotherapy, I view my art therapy as a supportive path towards self-development and the integration of unconscious aspects of the self. To this end, I employ a specific technique of “unintentional painting”- a method I frequently utilised and further developed within the context of psychodynamic psychotherapy.

I completed my psychology training in Germany at Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelm Universität Bonn: Diplom-Psychologin, with specialisations in clinical psychology and work/organisational/economic psychology. For Australian audiences, the Diplom-Psychologe is broadly comparable to a Master’s level qualification in psychology, reflecting advanced postgraduate training.

I also obtained the German Approbation zur Psychologischen Psychotherapeutin in tiefenpsychologisch orientierter Psychotherapie (state authorisation as a Psychological Psychotherapist, specialised in depth psychology) . For Australian audiences , the term Psychological Psychotherapist is equivalent to the role of a clinical psychologist.

In addition I am a supervisor , formerly qualified with the Landespsychotherapeutenkammer (LPK) , which refers to state chamber of psychologists, and hold the qualifications as a Supervisor and Selbsterfahrungsleiter. This reflects my ongoing professional training and experience in supervision and self experiential training contexts.

I am also trained in Kathathym Imaginative Psychoptherapie and in Hypnotherapy. I integrate these approaches thoughtfully within my talk therapy and art therapy work, depending on the needs of each client.

However, I would like to point out that I do not make clinical diagnoses or offer disorder- specific treatment, as I am now retired and do not hold Australian registration.
